1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using clock.onl ("the Service," "the Website," or "clock.onl"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

clock.onl is a free online world clock service that provides the following features:

  • Display of current local time based on your device's system clock
  • Ability to add and track multiple cities across different time zones
  • 12-hour and 24-hour time format options
  • Dark mode and light mode display themes
  • Fullscreen clock display mode
  • Day and night indicators for tracked cities
  • Automatic detection and display of your current location (with permission)
  • Local storage of preferences on your device

The Service is provided free of charge and is accessible via web browsers on desktop and mobile devices.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use clock.onl only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service
  • Use any automated means, including bots, scrapers, or similar technologies, to access or collect data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit any malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content

All user preferences and saved data are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage technology. We do not collect or store personal information on our servers.

  • Google Fonts for typography
  • BigDataCloud API for location services

clock.onl has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that clock.onl shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of information
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the time displayed is always 100% accurate. The time shown is based on your device's system clock and the timezone data available. Users should verify critical time-sensitive information through official sources.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CLOCK.ONL, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly
  • Any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Any damages resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any damages resulting from any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any damages resulting from reliance on the accuracy of time information displayed

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the damages claim is based.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless clock.onl and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Emergency maintenance or security patches
  • Technical difficulties or server issues
  • Third-party service outages
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where clock.onl operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and clock.onl regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
